Gaggal is approximately 17 km away from McLeodganj. Just a kilometer away from the bus stop is Dharmkot in Mcleodganj. The bus stop is easily accessible by foot or taxi. The reservation voucher will contain the address of the basecamp. Although there are a few treks that start from Gallu Devi temple, these are often not the best.

Day 1: Mcleodganj Base Camp to Triund

By 10 AM, report at Mcleodganj Base Camp. Trek begins to Triund via Dhramkot and Naddi. Overnight at Triund Top Camp.

Day 2: Triund Top to Base Camp

Start your journey back to Mcleodganj after breakfast. The trek ends at Mcleodganj’s base camp in the afternoon.

Is it possible to complete the Triund trek in one day?

It is possible to hike to Triund in a day. You don’t have to camp overnight. Instead, you can sleep under the stars in a tent and enjoy the peace and quiet of the campsite.
